Bewitched & Ensnared

Let us talk for a moment about this fabulous woman; Wizard, Actress, Model, Brown Graduate, political and overall fashionista! Emma Watson has been wowing us for years, beginning as a child film star before working her way onto the covers of Vogue, Marie Claire, Style, GQ and many more. Her love of fashion drove her to work with a label called People Tree in 2009 which was all about promoting fair trade which may have been what later sparked her interest in politics. Shortly after that her flair for fashion took her to new heights, becoming the face of Burberry (one of my true love fashion labels) throughout 2009-2010, basically barreling her full steam ahead into the world of high fashion.

It wasn't long after that Watson broke the spell that was her Hermoine Granger persona by chopping off her luscious locks, shocking her fans and simultaneously announcing herself as reborn. Well, Lancôme perfume certainly wasn't going to waste time snatching up this fashion sensation, and quickly signed her as their new celebrity face in August 2011. Keep in mind that Miss Watson during this whirlwind of fashion shows, photo shoots, interviews and public appearances was still continuing her role as a college student at Brown University. As a college student myself who has faced the insanity of being a full time student as well as a full time employee, all I can say is, 'Madame, I take my hat off to you!'

Though she did waylay her education somewhat for the finale filming of the Harry Potter series she did graduate in May 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature, at the age of 24. May we all be so lucky Miss Watson! Of course none of us can forget that she was chosen as the Goodwill Ambassador to make a United Nations speech on her rather passionately driven gender equality HeForShe campaign in January of this year; even with your eyes closed no one could have missed the buzz this stirred. Since then she was recently awarded the Best Campaigner of the Year Honor at the Ethical Awards, and voted 2015 #1 Outstanding Woman by askmen.com, go girl! At 25 years Emma Watson holds a net worth of 60 million dollars, has done things in her life that all of us dream of doing and is still one of the most down to earth starlet to grace the Hollywood scene today. May we all aspire to such greatness!
